My expertise in genomics allows me to consider a patient’s genetic variants for the deepest understanding of their potentials and vulnerabilities. The result is precision medicine.
Combining my pediatric training and experience and extensive training with Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs, I use a genomics-guided approach to treat Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD, PANS/PANDAS, and other chronic illnesses in both children and adults.
To understand the complexities of neuroinflammation and developmental delay, I utilize IntellxxDNA’s Neurodevelopmental Report.
Understanding neurotransmitter production and dysregulation also guides in the treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues, including but not limited to OCD, anxiety, and depression.
With certifications in yoga and meditation, I am well-equipped to understand the intricacies of the physical body and nervous system. Breathwork and meditation are crucial components of the healing process.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I maintain a regular yoga practice and enjoy playing the flute, hiking, and spending time on my family farm in Georgia and in the mountains of Asheville, NC with my husband, children, and our dog, Opal.
Please note: My practice does not serve as a primary care office. Patients are expected to maintain a separate primary care doctor for urgent needs and routine exams.
